Is There Anything Too Big For God’s Grace?

Hello everyone! Today the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad on it!

Yes you can be glad and rejoice, even in tumultuous times. There is hope in Christ, and I’m not talking about just grinning and bearing it because when we all get to heaven what a day that will be… No no no, our redemption is now; His kingdom is in us. We have His grace His hope. Hope is a positive expectation of good in your future. Do you have hope? You might say, “Evan, have you seen what is going on economically in this world, or have you been paying attention to what is going on politically here?” I have seen both, but nothing man can do, no economy, nor government corruption can stop the favor of God from giving you a hope and a future, (Jeremiah 29:11), and I’m not talking about when we get to heaven. Grace is God’s unearned, undeserved, unmerited favor, and when you are highly favored and forever loved and forgiven, then you have no reason to be hopeless.

Ephesians 2 tells us that because of God’s intense love for us, and His grace which you cannot even measure, He has prepared the good life for you to live! Yes right where you are and no economy nor corrupt government can stop it! John 1:17 says, for the law was given through Moses, but grace, and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Case in point, did you know that Jesus lived joyfully and successfully in His carpentry business and ministry under one of the most brutal, oppressive governments in history? The Roman Empire. His ministry touched, changed and healed countless crowds of people, God’s grace was upon Him everywhere He went, and in all that He did. “But grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” Grace came through Jesus, and as He is so are we in this world, 1st John 4:17.

I may not like everything that I see going on around me in this world, but I know that whatever it is, it cannot stop me from having a positive expectation of good in my future (hope), and no economy, good or bad, no politician, good or bad, and no government, good or bad, can stop God’s grace and plan (for the good life) from manifesting in my life; I just rest in what Jesus has done for me at the cross, He has given me ‘perfect’ redemption; I have His abundance of grace and free gift of righteousness, and I WILL reign in life, yes this life, as a King! (Romans 5:17). No man, and no circumstance can stop me, if God be for me who can be against me! (Romans 8:32).

The economy and government were not the obstacle, so to speak; for Jesus, it was religion. Religion put up the biggest fuss and fight about everything Jesus did, and Jesus went about doing good and healing all that we’re sick and oppressed, and yet religion had a problem with that. Religion wanted to stone the woman caught in adultery, Jesus saved her; religion wanted Jesus to stop healing on the Sabbath, yet Jesus healed the man with the withered hand. Notice in both those instances that religion used the law to condemn, yet Jesus saved and healed anyway. Religion has a form of godliness, but denies the power of God. (2nd Timothy 3:5). 2nd Corinthians chapter 3 calls the law the ministry of condemnation and death. Even religion in its corruption could not stop Jesus, and as He is so are we in THIS world! What an awesome God we serve, and we are seated in heavenly places with Christ Jesus, praise the Lord! Fear not what you see going on around you in this world, have hope, and step into His abundance of grace, receive His gift of righteousness, and REIGN as a KING in this word, now! He has done it all for you. He made you innocent; your identity is in Christ (as He is, so are you in this world), so be at peace, rest in Jesus, for whatever is born of God (that is you), overcomes the world, and this is the victory that has overcome the world~your faith! (1st John 5:4). NOTHING can stop God’s grace, NOTHING!

Business The Grace Way #19

Have you seen economic drought in the lives of people you know? Are you fearful that you might be next? Don’t be fearful, God has made a difference between you and the world, just as He did for Israel in the land of Goshen; Exodus 8:22 NKJV And in that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there, in order that you may know that I am the Lord in the midst of the land.

You are different; you belong to God, in that day God did not dwell in the people, He said He was in the midst of the land. Now you are the temple in which God dwells, and He has set you apart to Himself! Wow what a loving, kind and generous Father, you are different. You can expect to see His abundance in your business, occupation and even if your retired, in your retirement!

The question for many is; “if this is true why haven’t I seen it, am I doing something wrong”? If you are trying to achieve any of this by your self-effort, then you are laboring under the law, and Romans 4:14 says; For if those who are of the law are heirs, faith is made void and the promise made of no effect. Your self-efforts void your faith; Therefore, it is of faith that it might be according to grace (Romans 4:16). Ephesians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.

Understand that the word saved in Ephesians 2:8 is not coming to Jesus for salvation, although it includes that, it is much more. The Greek word for saved here is sozo which means to protect, heal, deliver, preserve, make whole. This is referring to God’s salvation working in your life, everyday of your life, by His grace, not your works. He wants to protect you daily from drought, and prosper your business, (this is part of being made whole/complete which is also to bless and prosper you). Let’s look at why He is doing this; Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us. The Amplified Bible says; because of the intense love which He loved us… We have this salvation daily working in our lives because of His intense love for us, Praise the Lord! The question is not “did I DO something wrong” rather it should be “what am I believing.” Wrong believing will produce wrong living. If you think, your problem is about your doing, then your believing wrong. Jesus has done it all for you, just receive His abundance of grace and free gift of righteousness, and you will reign in life. God has truly abundantly provided everything in life that you will ever need, and this includes customers who are drawn to your company by His grace, (unearned, undeserved, and unmerited favor). His grace and His grace alone.

The parable of the sower shows us what can be done to choke the word and make it unfruitful. Mark 4:18-19 Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful. (The deceitfulness of riches can be described as; trying to determine your self worth based on how much money you have). Your worth is based on Christ in you! 1st Corinthians 4:8 (Mirror Translation) tells us: 8 You are already saturated, literally jam-packed to capacity; you cannot get any wealthier than what you are! You are royalty (because of what happened to you in Christ,)… So the worries, fears, cares of the world or being anxious make Gods word unfruitful in Christian’s lives. Mark 4:20 tells us how to bear fruit in our lives’ businesses and everything we do; 20 But these are the ones sown on good ground, those who hear the word, accept it, and bear fruit: some thirty fold, some sixty, and some a hundred. Hear the word, receive it (believe) and bear fruit. I love the lord; He makes everything so simple.

Jeremiah 17:7-8; Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit. Notice it says you shall never cease from bearing fruit, even in drought, we’re also told not to be fearful or anxious in the year of drought, because as we just read, this causes the word to be unfruitful in our lives; and we want to never cease from yielding fruit. Believe what God says about you, rest in what He has done for you through Jesus. Your business may be agriculture; His grace has you covered; it is undeserved favor. You get what Jesus deserves because of the cross. Don’t worry, be happy, He has made a difference between you and the world! Reign as a King in life today!

All That I Have Is Yours!

Good morning, this morning, recognize how much you are loved by your Father! You can’t earn His love, all of your efforts and works cannot merit His love and grace. It’s yours, just receive it.

Your loving Father took a special interest in you before you were ever born. Psalm 139:13-16 (Message) says; Oh yes, you shaped me first inside, then out; you formed me in my mother’s womb. I thank you High God-you’re breathtaking! Body and soul, I am marvelously made! I worship in adoration-what a creation! You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, the days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day.

Let’s look at this through the finished work of the cross. Because of what Jesus has done for us, we are told in Ephesians 2:4-10 (Amplified), that God wants us to live the good life, which He made ready for us to live. All we have to do to enter into that rest, or good life, is believe what Jesus has done for us at the cross, and that it is based on His grace and love for us, not our trying to do good, or trying to please God with our efforts. We see this also in Ephesians 2; He did this that He might clearly demonstrate through the ages to come the immeasurable (limitless, surpassing) riches of His free grace (His unmerited favor) in [His] kindness and goodness of heart toward us in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:7 AMP). It is His grace, His kindness and goodness!

My friend, God loves you so much, that through Christ, He has removed all your sin forever more, removed all your guilty stains, declared you innocent, and poured out His abundance of grace and free gift of righteousness just for you! See yourself the way God sees you. Much of our problem is in our identity. We identify with who we used to be, instead of who we are in Christ.

The story in Luke 15 of the prodigal son, is actually a story of two sons with a very skewed and twisted view of who they were because they did not understand their Fathers love, thus their true identity. The Father here represents God. His love for both was unconditional, yet one left and the other tried to ‘serve’ his Father by his own self-efforts, and that did not stop the Fathers deep love for His precious dear sons. Hebrews tells us to neglect not such a great salvation, a salvation that restored our identity, and removed all sin and guilt. Many people spend all their days condemning themselves and those around them, and yet this ‘great salvation’ says that there is therefore, now NO condemnation for those who are in Christ! When we believe and agree with what God has said about us then we will enjoy the ‘good’ life God has prepared for us!

Today, receive all that your amazing loving Father has for you, by receiving His love and neglecting not His great salvation. Jesus made an amazing statement in the story of the prodigal, He said, “son you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.” (Luke 15:31). (The word son here is a very affectionate word in the Greek). Hear the voice of your loving Father say to you today, “My dearest precious daughter, my dearest precious son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.”

Whatever you need today, He has richly supplied, because He has prepared the good life for you, so reign as a King in the good life today!

As He Is So Are We In This World!

Good morning, always being aware of who you are in Christ will have a profound impact on your life, every day. As He is so are you in this world! (1st John 4:17).

Everything that Jesus is, you are, because of what Jesus has done for you. It is by His grace! Is Jesus loved by the Father? Is Jesus whole, healthy and strong? Is Jesus Righteous? Does He enjoy the abundant life? As He is so are you in THIS world.

The redemption we have through Christ, truly does not leave out any good thing. Our identity is very important, and Jesus came as a man in flesh and blood to redeem us, and reveal our true identity to us. You could say that He came to introduce us to who we really are in Christ. Many Christians are hung up on their short-comings, their mistakes, where they failed and have fallen short, they seem to continually cry out for forgiveness; living a very frustrated life. It seems that they always fall just a few inches short, not quite enough, in obtaining what they feel God wants for them. This is a result of sin-consciousness; they are more conscious of their sins and short-comings, than the simple yet powerful truth: As He is, so are we in this world!

Some Christians think they have to conduct battle against the devil in order to advance in the kingdom of God, they have to ‘take back’ what belongs to them. My friend, this is simply a self-effort based Christianity. We feel like we have to do something, or contribute something. How can you add anything to the finished work of Jesus? By the way, Colossians 1:13 says ‘He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love’. Furthermore, Colossians 2:15 Jesus ‘disarmed’ the enemy the devil. If we have been delivered from the power of darkness, and our enemy disarmed, what are we fighting? The good fight of faith. Recognizing who we are in Christ, and believing it.

Romans 1:17 tells us that the Gospel (good news) is THE power of God to salvation, for in it the righteousness of God is revealed. Here we begin to see the righteousness conscious Christian. Instead of focusing on sin, or the devil, this person focuses on who they are in Christ. The fact that they are righteous, they are innocent, guiltless, and faultless. As He is so are we in this world.

When we understand that we are clothed in His righteousness, and what all that really means, that is our identity revealed in Christ. For in this gospel our righteousness is revealed. Hebrews 5:13 says: for everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. Our identity in Christ, knowing we are righteous, and what that means, that is what brings maturity to us as Christians. We become skilled in the word of ‘righteousness’ we also find ourselves righteousness conscious. Remember; as He is, so are you in this world, meditate on that today.

Business The Grace Way #18

Good morning to everyone, God has prepared good success for you today!

When we get to know our loving Father, and we see all the provision He has made for us through what Jesus completed at the cross, our faith begins to rise to new heights. God knew exactly where you were going to be today, He knew what occupation you would be in; He knew the business you would be in, and He has made every provision for you to be blessed in abundance through the cross.

Sometimes this is difficult for some people to see, because their opinion of themselves is so low, they are laden with sin-consciousness; and their challenges they have in life, they magnify to the point that all they see is failure and defeat.

Of course what you focus on, is all that you see. Simple statement but profound. When you are righteousness conscious, you are looking to (focusing on) Jesus and what he has done for you when He demonstrated His love for you at the cross. A love so intense that He paid the price for your redemption with His life! He loved you so much that He now wants you to just rest in what He has done. In other words, your toil and labor in life are over, or should be; and it is no longer about what you can do, but it is about what He has done. It seems that the most difficult thing for a believer to do is rest. When things are difficult at work, or in business, just take some time to rest, reflecting and meditating of what Jesus has done for you. When we take communion, we are reflecting on Jesus ‘do this in remembrance of me’. You might be thinking “well if I don’t do something right away I will lose my business.” You just made my point, entering into God’s rest is a challenge for many believers. First, it requires that you believe God has a rest for you, and that He will take care of you.

Hebrews the 4th chapter tells us about this rest, and we also see in this same chapter that Israel did not enter the rest because of unbelief. Don’t let unbelief keep you from God’s best.

Joshua 1:8 and Psalm 1:1 both shows us how to focus on what Jesus has done for us, and that is by meditating on His word. What is the result of meditating? You will have good success, and whatever you do will prosper! Meditate His word, it will help you to become more conscious of your righteousness, and whatever you do will prosper.

Friend, He has done it all for you; He has made you innocent, righteous and blessed you with His abundance of Grace, so that you could reign in life! Today in your business or occupation, rest in Him and reign in life!

Business The Grace Way #17

Blessed day and blessed week to you this week. You are complete in Him, and you have His profusely abounding grace in your life, accept it, because He has given it to you!

According to the dictionary, profuse and profusely mean: ‘unrestrained abundance’. The Amplified Bible puts Luke 4:17 this way; To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound]. Also Romans 5:15 But God’s free gift is not at all to be compared to the trespass [His grace is out of all proportion to the fall of man]. For if many died through one man’s falling away (his lapse, his offense), much more profusely did God’s grace and the free gift [that comes] through the undeserved favor of the one Man Jesus Christ abound and overflow to and for [the benefit of] many. (Romans 5:15 AMP). God’s grace and the ‘free gift’ (righteousness), cannot even be compared to the trespass. God has made available to you His limitless immeasurable, surpassing (Eph 2:7 Amp), unrestrained abundance in His grace toward you! Wow, He must love YOU a lot! I’d say He has given you an unfair advantage in your occupation, business, and life.

Through Christ Jesus, you have been made complete in Him (Colossians 2:10). Do you believe this? When you face any challenge in your business, I exhort you to look to the solution, not the problem. When you focus on the problem, you become more sin conscious, and begin to question where you went wrong, maybe you did something to dis-please God. The questioning and second guessing just gets worse until you try to think of all the things you can ‘do’ to fix your problem.

When you focus on Jesus, and what He did for you at the cross, you become more righteousness conscious, and you begin to see yourself as God sees you; righteous, innocent, dearly loved, seated with Jesus in heavenly places. The more you meditate on Jesus the solution you can then begin to see and fully believe 1st John 4:17, as He is so are we in this world. You begin to see His love for you, and your fear subsides. Can it be this simple you ask? Absolutely! God already determined that He wants you blessed, He provided His abounding grace so that you could be successful in your occupation. All you have to do is believe. You can’t very well believe all the things provided to you through Christ, when your worried about your situation, and how ‘your going to make it work’. The nation of Israel did not enter the promised land because of unbelief. To enter His rest for you, you need to believe what God has said and done for you. Your self efforts can’t do anything for you except take you back to the law and frustrate the grace of God in your life.

Look at your need from a divine point of view. Sometimes we ask ourselves, “do I have enough faith”? Instead ask, “do I have a loving powerful savior.” Is He strong enough to bless you, heal you, bring business to you? It is God’s desire for you to reign in life, and He has provided a limitless supply of profusely abounding grace; it can never run out. Romans 5:17 says to just receive it. You can receive this grace and gift of righteousness because you believe, you believe because you hear, faith comes by hearing the gospel of grace. It is difficult to believe the good news by looking at the bad. If you are righteous and innocent in Christ, and your hearing that God can’t bless you because there is sin in your life, that mixture can cause confusion and rob you of that which God has said He has already done for you. Focus on your Savior, and how He has redeemed you and forgiven you, and receive His abundance of grace and free gift of righteousness, and reign as Kings in your occupation and life!

Misunderstood Love!

Good morning everyone, have you considered God’s love for you today?

Knowing how much you are loved in any relationship is important. Have you ever noticed how a person will shy away from another person if they ‘feel’ unloved. A husband can love his wife so much, that he would do anything for her, but if she doesn’t believe that he loves her, her actions will demonstrate her unbelief regarding his undying love.

In the same way, our Father’s perfect unconditional love for us will also be affected if we don’t believe His intense love for us; and even worse, is when someone we think knows God and His word, teaches a skewed view of His love to God’s people. Many Christians who are taught this skewed religious version of God’s love, know that they need God; however, they find their relationship sadly lacking because they believed some twisted religious view of God’s love.

Misunderstandings have started all kinds of conflicts, even wars. Religion has taught us to misunderstand God’s love, and grace to the point of Christians finding themselves in a conflict of sorts with God. When I say ‘religion’ I am referring to the mixing of law and grace, (trying to qualify for something God has freely given to us). In one breath were told God loves us, in the next breath were told that He is now angry with us because of a mistake we made. My friend that produces confusion, not confidence. God exhausted all of His anger toward man on the body of Jesus at the cross. The good news is; God is not now, nor will He ever be angry with you, because of Jesus being our propitiation (satisfying sacrifice) for our sins.

What are people driven to try to find? Love, forgiveness and acceptance! What did Jesus give us at the cross? Love (unconditional), forgiveness (once for all, total), and complete eternal acceptance! What holds people back from learning this? Religion, tells them Jesus died for their sins, but now you have to live by the law, a set of rules; their also told their forgiven because of the cross, then whoops you sinned, now you are guilty, unacceptable; you must confess every sin so you can ‘qualify’ for His acceptance again. Is it just me, or does anyone see schizophrenia here? If you are hungry and searching for Gods love know this; that He truly does love you, and Jesus made you accepted, forgiven and innocent by His blood.

The Object Of His Love

Oh how God loves you and wants His best for you. Believe what He says and thinks about you today, and soar to new heights!

He does not see you as a failure, He sees you as a success.

He did not see you as without value, but he saw you as “to die for,” which makes you priceless!

He doesn’t see you as broke, but He sees you loaded with all of His blessings, fully supplied in abundance to meet every need and yes even your desires.

He doesn’t see you as sick and broken down, but as vibrant and full of life, His life!

He doesn’t see you as a nobody, He sees you as somebody very special to Him with unlimited potential!

He was so excited about you that He threw a party when you invited Him to live in you!

For you see, YOU are the object of His love, a love that has no conditions, a love that is so intense that He gave His very best just to be with you, a love that would stop at nothing to restore your innocence, make you righteous, never ever hold your sin or shortcomings against you! A love that completely destroyed and disarmed your enemy. Why did He do all this for you? Because He LOVES YOU!

He loves everything about you, your personality, your hair, your smile, your sense of humor; He goes to work with you. He has given you His grace; you are highly favored and have been greatly advantaged because of Him! Because of His love for you, you have an unfair advantage over the world, in all that you do!

The beauty of His love is that you don’t have to earn it; you don’t have to deserve it. You are constantly loved by Him. You are always highly favored by Him not because of anything you have done, but because of what He has done! You are completely innocent, and you are His!

You know Him as Abba, your exceedingly loving Father in Heaven! You are His beloved; He will never let go of you nor loosen His grip on you! All He wants you to do is believe, so believe that Jesus paid the price to give this to you; now go and reign as Kings in life today!
